LANGUAGE
Very few customers in India speak textbook Hindi on a business call. They say "price kya hai", "Sunday ko visit kar sakte hain?" and "EMI option hai?". Our Hindi AI voice agent is built for that mix: Hindi with the English words people really use, numbers the way they are said, and a polite "aap" throughout.
AT A GLANCE
USE CASES
Delhi NCR, UP, MP, Rajasthan, Bihar, Haryana: enquiries called in the language they were made in.
English product words inside Hindi sentences, the way urban buyers talk.
A call that starts in English moves to Hindi the moment the customer asks, and stays there.
Appointment bookings, counselling visits, site visits and COD confirmations in Hindi.
Callers who ring your number and start in Hindi get answered in Hindi, day or night.
FEATURES THAT MATTER HERE
Natural intonation and pronunciation. Words like "aaj", "zaroor" and "theek hai" are said as a Hindi speaker says them, not read out in an English accent.
It keeps the English words your customers use (EMI, site visit, booking, discount) instead of forcing pure Hindi nobody speaks on the phone.
Prices in lakh and crore, times as "shaam 5 baje", dates the way people say them.
It starts in the language you choose. It moves to Hindi or English only when the caller asks, and doesn't drift back mid-call.
Company, project and product names are said exactly as you say them, even inside a Hindi sentence.
WHAT WE LEARNED
Most voice systems are built in English first. When they speak Hindi, the Hindi is often written in English letters behind the scenes ("aaj shaam 7 baje"), and the voice reads it like English: "aaj" comes out as "aj", "zaroor" sounds clipped. Customers notice in the first sentence.
We found this in our own calls and changed how our agents write Hindi for the voice: Hindi words are written in Devanagari, while the English words, brand names, numbers and times stay in English letters. The voice then says each word in its own language. It is a small detail, and it is the difference between "sounds like a bot" and "sounds like someone from the office".
The other rule we hold to: the agent never switches language on its own. If a customer starts in English and asks "Hindi mein baat kar sakte hain?", the agent switches and stays in Hindi until the customer asks otherwise.
WHERE IT FITS
For leads from the Hindi belt and tier-2 cities, opening in Hindi usually works best. For metro leads from English-language ads, opening in English and letting the caller switch is safer. Many businesses run both, chosen per campaign or per lead source. If you sell across India, the same agent can also speak Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Bengali.
